Let Him Be Your Light
I was having trouble sleeping
So I prayed to Father in Heaven
I said “I’m so confused,
I need some redirection.
I don’t know where my life will lead me,
I’m scared to take the journey.
It’s hard to always Choose The Right
When so many things do tempt me.”
I got an answer loud and clear
Though through a still small voice.
“Come to me for guidance,
You will make the better choice.
Pray to me with sincerity,
With contrite spirit and broken heart,
And through sins and disparity
My company will never part.
And when life’s trials cast a doubt,
Just ask and I’ll be there.
I’ll answer through that still small voice
To let you know I care.
Put trust in thy savior;
Follow his path where it’s worn.
Let him be your light,
He will guide you through the storm.”
