Atone-ishment

 

The process by which

All are to be saved

Given by God

The way already paved

 

Synonymous with love

For us to abuse

He gave His life

So we all could choose

 

To fall on the ground

This is no sin.

But to fall and stay down

Would be better to never have been

 

And it is for this very reason

That we all now have

The oneness with divinity

 The purity of a calf

 

So today we decide

To stand up and fight

And praise our redeemer

With all our very might

 

For it was to this end did we choose

In the great council up on high

To live by His gospel

And to never deny

 

The atonement for you

Is the atonement for me

To atone for all man

And to all whom earth will see

 

So speak no dissertation

Against what is true

For the Lord’s work will go forth

With or without you
