IF I SEE THE TRUTH, HOW WILL I KNOW?

Father! Give me a blessing, my time has come,
For I am not sure I know what it's like to be born.
Father! Please tell me before I go,
If I see the truth, how will I know.

My son! I will never leave you alone,
I have provided for you a lovely home.
If you grow up to do what is right,
You will one day see the light.

Father! I have decided to follow Thy Son,
How will I know that He is the One.
Father! Please tell me before I go,
If I see the truth, how will I know.

Beware! My Son! For many shall say. I am the Christ,
Ravening Wolves in Sheep clothing disguise.
In the end they shall all weep
When their reward they shall reap

What if I sin and realise the error of my way
To recieve Forgiveness what should I say
Father! Please tell me before I go,
If I see the truth, how will I know.

Call upon me in the name of my only Begotten
He that calls on me shall not be forsaken
So peace be unto you. Noble one of great faith
For ye have diligencely kept your first estate

My blessing be unto you as you go.
I will always be there to have you know.
