Dee Jay Bawden created this beautiful limited edition bronze, depicting the Prophet Joseph Smith Jr, in his Nauvoo Legion uniform, and Emma, in her finest dress. The early years spent in Nauvoo, Illinois were indeed a "time to dance" The Church was prosperous and the Saints were finally living in peace. These times were short-lived, however, as the Nauvoo years came to an abrupt halt with the martyrdom of the Prophet Joseph and his brother Hyrum. It would seem that Emma would have looked back fondly at these few, but joyous occasions.

With the Nauvoo Temple being rebuilt, it is fitting to commemorate yet another season of joy in Nauvoo!
